Jerrabomberra Wetlands

A couple of hours on a clear day. Nothing new seen, but good views of hard to see Latham’s Snipe:

and Baillin’s Crake:

There were also superb fairy wrens (male breeding) and Australian Reed Warblers:

as well as Freckled Ducks, a Sacred Kingfisher and the usual large numbers of Purple Swamp Hens:
